Some key themes include:
- Across all of Oxfordshire's Districts, Oxford has the highest proportion of ethnic minority pupils and pupils whose first language isn't English.
- Across all of Oxfordshire's Districts, there is a higher proportion of ethnic minority pupils and pupils whose first language isn't English in Primary year groups (years 1-6) than in Secondary year groups (years 7-11).
*The School Census is a regular data collection exercise in which state-funded schools submit a range of information to the Department of Education. This information includes general pupil characteristics, such as gender, free school meal eligibility, special needs, ethnicity, and language.
