The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment provides information about Oxfordshire’s population and the factors affecting health, wellbeing, and social care needs. It brings together information from different sources and partners to create a shared evidence base, which supports service planning, decision-making, and delivery. The 2017 report, which was presented to the Health and Wellbeing Board on 23 March 2017, focuses on headline facts uncovered by the most recent analysis of the data. This publication provides a fascinating insight in the culture, beliefs, and practices of various communities within the county. Whilst the figures are taken from the 2001 census, the accompanying text is very useful for understanding key terms and ideas.
