New Health Needs Assessment for the East Timorese population
There is an estimated population of 2,500 residents from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (East Timor) in Oxfordshire. This population of working-age labour migrants often live in more deprived areas of Oxford City and face multiple health and social needs.
The East Timorese health needs assessment (HNA), prepared by Oxfordshire County Council's Public Health team, explores the health needs of the East Timorese population in Oxfordshire including population characteristics, health and wellbeing, provision of and access to services.
The assessment sets out 9 recommendations for the East Timor working group and public sector partners.
