Oxfordshire has relatively low levels of deprivation: it is the 10th least deprived of 151 upper-tier local authorities in England (up from 11th in 2015). That puts the county well within the top 10% least deprived.

It is based on 39 separate indicators, organised across seven distinct domains of deprivation which are combined and weighted to calculate the Index.
