June 2020 Oxfordshire Analyst Networking Meeting

Thank you to everyone who came along to our first ‘virtual’ Oxfordshire analyst networking meeting on 11th June, hosted by Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council online. Despite not being able to meet in person, lots of questions were asked of the speakers and groups discussions were held!

Our meeting this time included sessions from.

  • John Courouble from Oxfordshire County Council talked about Shielded Residents and the overlap with social care.
  • Owen Miller, an analyst from Thames Valley Police talked about the impact the pandemic has had on crime in Oxford.
  • Simon Barnard from Oxfordshire Community Foundation gave a tour of the Local Insight public website (https://oxfordshire.communityinsight.org/) and talked about how it can be used.
  • Craig Morbey from Oxford City Council’s Communities Team talked about his experience working in the Locality Hubs and how this has helped to identify and support vulnerable people during the pandemic and Neil Lawrence, also from the City Council, presented on Making sense of the COVID data challenges

Where we can share presentations they have been uploaded onto the Oxfordshire Analyst Networking group on the Knowledge Hub

Alternatively you can download a summary of the presentations.

In small groups we discussed what indicators we have found particularly useful/relevant at this time.

***SAVE THE DATE***
